My last wedding blog of 2019 is here! (Sorry I’m late to the game ya’ll)
Emily and Kourtney’s winter wedding was the best way to begin the month of December! When I booked their wedding I remember thinking “It never snows in early December, it’ll be fine driving to New Jersey!” Luckily the weather held off long enough for me to get home. The next day, the sky let loose with snow!
Emily and Kourtney met during their time at Salisbury University. Funny enough, Kourtney’s sister was Emily’s RA freshman year, so they’ve all been a close knit group for a long time. Right before graduating, Emily and Kourtney began dating and the rest is history!
Below are some of my favorite things from celebrating their special day!
- The adorable getting ready PJ’s everyone wore and how much fun they all had in the morning while prepping for the afternoon festivities
-Their beautiful indoor ceremony space complete with a floral arch and romantic wreaths and candles lining the aisle
-Emily and Kourtney’s first dance that took an incredible turn into Whitney Houston’s “I Wanna Dance with Somebody” dance party. It was the perfect way to get everyone onto the dance floor!
-Addison Park was decorated for the holiday season, so Emily and Kourtney brought along a customized ornament to hang on the tree! This was my first December wedding, and I love that they embraced the holiday season with their “Merry and Married” ornament!
-Wedding guests “Icing” Emily and Kourtney (see last photo)
-Alllll the dancing! Seriously, most wedding guests were on the dance floor the whole evening, which doesn’t always happen!
