Gosh, where do I begin with these two? I met Ami during our time in Tri Delta at Towson and was so honored when she asked me to capture her and Mark’s wedding day!
While I don’t see them in person often, I do stalk their cuteness on Instagram. Since Mark is a police officer they often work opposite hours, and leave love notes around the house for one another. Since words of affirmation is personally one of my love languages, their sweet letters back and forth of gratitude and appreciation really tugs on my heart strings. So, it came as no surprise that on their wedding day, they wrote each other adorable letters.
There were so many memorable moments from Saturday, so I’ll just leave a few favorites below:
Their sweet love letters (as already mentioned) BUT, Mark also included a DVD for Ami to watch before the wedding (insert sobbing here) On their first dating anniversary he made Ami a DVD and decided to bring it full circle with another on Saturday.
Ami and Mark’s pup Champ being the “Best Dog” and cutest wedding day floof I’ve seen to date. (See below for further proof)
You can tell a lot about a person by who they surround themselves with. Watching their family and friends cheer, dance and celebrate from beginning to end showed me just how much Ami and Mark are loved and admired by all.
All of the dancing! I had no clue that Mark and Ami could kill it on the dance floor! Also, Mark knows a ton of cool moves with fancy hat flipping and moon walking. I was so impressed!
Did I mention that as I was about to leave for the night I saw a shooting star and one random huge firework that filled the sky over the highway? Even after the celebrations ended, the night was so magical!
