I don’t want to jinx it, but this was my second wedding weekend in a row where the weather was flawless. I was starting to think I was bad luck to the wedding industry after two years of photographing rainy wedding days, or wedding days that at least had the threat of rain. 2019 is off to a solid start!
On Saturday I spent the day celebrating Jamie and Greg at the Accelerator Space in Baltimore. It’s funny to think I had never met these two in person prior to their wedding day, but when I met them, it felt like I’d known them forever.
From the minute I walked into the venue, I was giddy with excitement as I saw each beautiful detail Jamie worked so hard to create. As the day progressed, I learned so many wonderful things about Jamie and Greg as a couple, and individual. During speeches whenever the speaker complimented something about either of the two, every guest broke out in applause, which speaks volumes about their character and the love everyone has for them. The energy in this venue was unmatchable and continued until the very end for the sparkler exit.
Some of my favorite things from their big day include (but are not limited to):
How Jamie and Greg incorporated their dogs, Otis and Stanley into their wedding day without them actually being present. From the dog treat party favors, napkins, and various signs giving them shoutouts.
Jamie’s first look with her dad where she gave him a personalized handkerchief.
The ballon garland behind their sweetheart table.
Jamie’s denim jacket repping her new last name.
Seeing how much fun everyone had coming together to celebrate their love.
